Abstract:
The atmospheric pressure dry distillation experimental study is done on the Kazakhstan oil sands.Dry distillation time, heating rate, final heating temperature, and other factors' impact on the separation of oil sands are studied.The results show that the yield of the product could be better under the optimum conditions: the dry distillation time is 4h, heating rate is 5 ℃/min ~ 10℃/min, the final heating temperature is 500 ℃.Under such conditions, the oil sands pyrolysis rate is up to 90%, and can achieve better pyrolysis results.So dry distillation technology can be used in oil sands separation and it has the value of industrial development.
