Abstract:
The liquefied petroleum gas samples provided by Wenmi Oil Extraction Plant are analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The result shows that it is the excessive level of H
2S content which causes the failure of LPG copper corrosion, and H
2S content of the samples is 2.55
μg/g. In this study, H
2S is removed by accelerated evaluation of solid adsorption. CNDS-1 is selected from the common used desulfurization agents as the optimal sorbent. The optimal operation conditions of CNDS-1 are: adsorption temperature is 20℃- 40℃, space velocity is 0.8 h
-1-1.5 h
-1. Under optimal conditions, H
2S content can be reduced from 302.4
μg/g to 0.3
μg/g below, LPG copper corrosion test is qualified and sulfur adsorption capacity of CNDS-1 is 8.2%(wt). According to the desulfurization experimental study, the principle process flow is put forward. The desulfurization process is simple, the investment and operation cost is low, and no additional energy loss, which can be qualified to meet the requirements of copper corrosion.
