Abstract:
Acid gas is the by-product of sour oil-gas field exploitation. As the acid gas disposal is restricted to both the cost of sulfur recovery and the emission policy, acid-gas reinjection (AGI) has become an effective option. Acid-gas reinjection, which is of high risk and technique difficulty, is mainly applied in North America at present. This article reviews the situation of oversea AGI development and introduces the process, location, material selection and safety consideration combining with practical cases. The necessity of self-development and application in both home and abroad sour oil-gas field exploitation is also discussed.
