Abstract: Based on the analysis of energy usage character of oil and gas field development, natural gas purification, light hydrogen recovery, CNG and rear-service, the basic thought for building energy efficiency benchmarking index system of the above five professional works is proposed. The principle of establishing energy efficiency benchmarking index as well as the basic contents of the energy efficiency benchmarking index is described. The necessity and significance of setting different energy efficiency benchmarking index are discussed.
