Abstract:
The problems of glycol foaming, scaling and blocking of regeneration equipment caused by incomplete alcohol hydrocarbon separation, glycol soluble salts gathering were analyzed and the solutions were proposed. The original design of glycol regeneration process in Kelameili gas field is so simple that the regeneration system can not be operated properly, resulting in column fouling, equipment scaling, high temperature of lean liquor, and the regenerated glycol can not meet industrial specifications. In order to guarantee stable and efficient running of glycol regeneration unit in Kelameili gas field, based on the analysis of existing problems, regeneration unit are simulated, process parameters are optimized, and high efficient equipment are selected, and the effective improvement program are proposed.
