Abstract:
Perovskite catalyst LaFeO
3 for the selective oxidation of CH
4 to syngas has high selectivity and methane conversion. However, the pure LaFeO
3 has poor strength and very low specific surface areas. A series of perovskite catalysts were prepared by using aluminum hydroxide precursors, which was prepared by titrating aluminum nitrate solution with ammonia, then mixed with LaFeO
3 and extruded by an extruder. The effects of active component content, additive, temperature on the catalyst performance were studied by means of XRD, switch reaction, pulse reaction and temperature programmed surface reaction. The results showed that mechanical strength of all the catalysts was above 200 N/cm, and these catalysts have good reactive performance.
