Abstract:
The presence of H
2S in natural gas affects the storage, transportation and utilization of natural gas and environment so that it must be desulfurized. Conventional natural gas desulfurization processes include dry desulfurization, membrane separation process, wet desulfurization and biological desulfurization, etc. The principle of natural gas desulfurization by hydrate is that H
2S is preferred to generate hydrate and then enters into hydrate phase to achieve desulfurization. Compared with the conventional methods, desulfurization process by hydrate formation has the advantages of simple process flow, low energy consumption, environmental protection, etc., so it has extensive application perspective.
