Abstract:
This article researched the separation properties of LPG by three kinds of chromatographic column. The separation of propane and propylene in LPG could be improved by using self-made column of dibutyl phthalate and sebacic nitriles together, so as to quantify the various components accurately. Sebacic nitriles chromatographic column had a high resolution and good repeatability in analyzing all kinds of components except C
2 of LPG and was good for separating hydrogen sulfide from LPG in refinery. The Al
2O
3/PLOT quartz capillary column and FID tested the C
1-C
5 components of LPG more ideally, each component could achieve baseline separation, and the precision of the result was good. The key technologies affecting the accuracy of LPG analysis, such as sampling, injection, results quantification and use of reference gas, were discussed in detail.
