Abstract: Compared with mixed amine solvent of MDEA and MEA, the decarbonization solvent CT8-23 has the advantages of high absorption rate, easier to be desorbed, and lower corrosion performance. The application results of CT8-23 in a natural gas decarbonization unit showed that besides improving the CO₂ deep removal effect, the CT8-23 solvent could further reduce the solution circulation volume and steam consumption, thus reduced the power consumption effectively.
