Abstract: The resource market and the present situation of helium extraction from natural gas are introduced. The process characteristics of helium extraction from natural gas are summarized. The development history of helium extraction from natural gas is reviewed. The existing main problems to this process are analyzed. Some suggestions are provided for the next step development.
