Abstract:
In this paper, the main sources of noise in single gas production station were analyzed, noise intensity was measured and the noise spectral was analyzed. Through the field tests, effective noise reduction measures were proposed. After analyzing the effect of the noise reduction, the further noise reduction measures were also proposed. The results manifested that the main sources of noise in single gas station were throttling valves, separators and process pipelines. The intensity of the main noise sources was 85-102 dB (A). The noise was a broadband noise dominated by medium and high frequency. The noise intensity could be reduced with about 9 dB (A) with the means of increasing the size of the second stage throttle valve and optimizing the laying way of pipeline in station.
