Abstract:
Energy saving and consumption reduction have been important measures of enterprise development. Considering the periodic user load and the peak valley tariff policy, an optimization model of economic operation for LNG receiving terminal is established, from which an analytic formula (optimization criterion) for the optimization policies of economic operation is derived. Due to the complex operating conditions and the coupled devices in which the operating conditions are affected each other, it is difficult to get the solution of the model analytically, therefore a dynamic simulation system for the LNG receiving terminal system with the accurate dynamic characteristics of the terminal and the optimization criterion derived is built here, with which a case study of a domestic LNG receiving terminal under operation is made. The results of the case study affirm the effectiveness of this optimization criterion and the reliability and superiority of the dynamic simulation platform in the optimization process. In this paper, the operation strategy of three typical user load conditions of the receiving terminal is researched. About 4.38 percent of the electricity bill may be saved monthly for the LNG receiving terminal under this strategy.
