Abstract:
PetroChina Southwest Oil & Gasfield Company operates three light hydrocarbon plants, running eight sets of light hydrocarbon recovery units. Due to the exhaustion of the gas source, two sets of devices were suspended, and three sets were operating under low load, except for another three sets of devices at full capacity. The low load devices are not easy to be operated, due to its high unit energy consumption and difficulties to guarantee the product quality effectively. In this paper, the low load devices within the PetroChina Southwest Oil and Gasfield Company are introduced. Based on ensuring the secure and stable operation and the quality of the product, feasible measures are put forward to widen the application scope and improve the efficiency of low load devices. These measures include optimizing the adsorption period of molecular sieve, changing the water supply mode of the pump, adaptively transforming the key equipment, and achieving better results and certain economic benefits.
