Abstract:
HZSM-5 zeolites were treated with different concentration ratios of tetrapropylammonium hydroxide and sodium acetate mixed alkaline (TPAOH/CH
3COONa) solution, and Pt was loaded on HZSM-5 zeolites before and after treatment to prepare Pt/HZSM-5 catalyst for propane dehydrogenation. The HZSM-5 zeolites before and after treatment were characterized by XRD, XRF, SEM, BET, NH
3-TPD, H
2 chemisorption and TG. The effects of different concentration ratios of mixed alkaline solution on the crystal structure, surface morphology, pore structure, surface acidity and propane dehydrogenation of HZSM-5 zeolites were investigated. The results showed that the mixed alkaline solution treatment of HZSM-5 zeolites could form the micro-mesoporous hierarchical pore structure and modulate the surface acidity of the zeolite. When the concentration ratio of TPAOH/CH
3COONa was 0.075, the initial propane conversion and the propene selectivity presented the best catalytic performance, which were 34.0% and 99.1%, respectively.
