Abstract:
Objective The aim is to efficiently degrade organic amine wastewater by modified ZSM-5 zeolites loaded Fe.
Methods ZSM-5 zeolites were treated with CH3COONa solution of different concentrations, the before and afer treated samples were characterized by XRD, N2 adsorption and SEM and effects on the structure and physical and chemical properties of ZSM-5 zeolites were investigated with CH3COONa solution of different concentrations. The ZSM-5 zeolites before and after treatment were loaded Fe and then used for catalytic degradation of organic amine wastewater of high concentration.
Results The treatment by CH3COONa solution had a little effect on the crystal morphology of zeolite, and the microporous and mesoporous multilevel pore structure was formed on the basis of keeping the micropore structure less degree damage.
Conclusions When the concentration of the CH3COONa solution was 4 mol/L, the COD removal rate of organic amine wastewater reached 93.1%.
