Abstract: Our country has aboundance low permeability oil and gas resources, fracture acidizing plays a great role in enhancing production of oil and gas reservoir, the formation break is the key of it. Due to deep burial and abnormal tectonics stress, high shale content and particularly high breakdown pressure, the reformation failed. The paper analyzed essentially the carbonate rock mechanical strength, summarized the impact of mineral production, structural feature, constitute, water or chemical fluid action and fault on the carbonate rock mechanics. Supplied the significant foundation for acidizing lowering rock mechanical strength to lower the breakdown pressure.
