Abstract: The flare system is the last barrier to ensure the safety of the oil and gas treatment facilities, ignition facilities is the key factor to make sure that the flare system is ignited successfully during the shutdown and venting of whole plant. The type and principle of the oil and gas field surface flare ignition system and the composition and principle of monitoring system are introduced in detail in this paper.
