Study on Mass Transfer Kinetics of Carbon Dioxide Absorption in Disc Column

  • In this paper, the CO2 absorption rate of water and ethanolamine solution is measured using disc column absorption device, kinetic model of absorption and mass transfer is built. The impact of flow rate and concentration of absorption liquid on absorption rate is studied. The results show that when the flow rate is 4.8L/h, and ethanolamine concentration is 0.06%, the effect of absorption is the best. The addition of methyl amine to ethanolamine solution can significantly increase the absorption rate of CO2, and the best mixed concentration ratio of ethanolamine and methyl amine is 5:1
