Analysis of Influencing Factors of Crushing Rate for Fracturing Proppant

The crushing rate is one of key technique index in evaluating property of fracturing proppant, which is an important basis for choosing and using fracturing proppant. In accordance with SY/T 5108-2006 standard, influencing factors of the crushing rate were analyzed from the procedures and equipments of the testing. Results show that the crushing rate was influenced by separation of samples, screening, weighing and pressure in the testing, as well as the quality of the product itself, thereinto, larger aperture of upper sieve, longer time of sieve's vibration, bigger interior diameter and higher hardness would lead to a higher crushing rate than the real one.
