The generation, characteristics and collection methods of emergency wastewater in petrochemical enterprises are described. Combining the engineering examples, it was discussed the design of emergency pool volume what not only meeting a variety of accidents under accident conditions of emergency wastewater collection but also reflecting the economic rationality.
