Composition and Influencing Factors Study of Suspended Solid in ASP Flooding Produced Water

  • The composition of suspended solid in ASP flooding produced water became more complicated because the chemicals and ions are variable. The result of SEM and FTIR analysis showed that after the produced water was filtered, numerous inorganic salts and mineral grains were filtered on the microporous membrane and much viscous matter were absorbed on the membrane skeleton which was mainly HPAM and emulsified oil, etc. The simulation experiment of produced water indicated that the suspended solid (SS) content increased obviously while HPAM content or molecular weight exceeded a certain value. Moreover, carbonate scaling of ASP produced water will also result in the increasing of SS content.
