Synthesis and performance evaluation of α-sulfonic acid-lauryl acyl oxygen ethyl-dimethyl lauryl ammonium bromide

  • In this paper, using raw materials of lauric acid, chlorosulfonic acid, N, N-DMEA and bromdecane, synthesized a new type of amphiprotic gemini surfactants, i.e. α-sulfonic acid - lauryl acyl oxygen ethyl - dimethyl dodecyl ammonium bromide. And characterized the structure of the final outcome by the infrared spectrum, and evaluated the surface activity, compound property, emulsification and foamability of the synthetic.
