Initial analysis on the application of Chevron SID in project

Application of SID (Safety in Design) system is one of the features of Sichuan northeast high sour gas field project. SID introduces ergonomics engineering philosophy to engineering design to assist the realization of zero accident and zero injury goal of work site. This article introduced characteristics of SID system and its application in Sichuan northeast high sulfur project, and analyzed how Chevron implements SID to every phase of project execution. Learning from the advanced philosophy of Chevron on safety design will enrich and improve the safety management system of similar domestic projects in engineering design, construction and operation.
