BOG recovery of LNG storage tank cooling process

  • The cooling process of LNG storage tank will generate a lot of BOG, and how to reasonably recycle it is particularly important. The actual BOG recovery was calculated based on the third tank cooling of Dalian LNG receiving terminal, then the process and operation during the cooling process were appropriately improved, and the maximum recovery quantity and its required minimum output flow of LNG were figured out. By contrast, the improved recovery quantity is 1.64 times as much as the actual one, which reduces effectively the BOG emissions.
