Application of hydrogen co-ignition in sulfur recovery unit under ultra low load

  • The application of hydrogen co-ignition in 40 kt/a sulfur recovery of PetroChina Urumqi Petrochemical Company under low load was introduced. Under low load, the hydrogen co-ignition process could well control the temperature of the reaction furnace, the two-stage converter, and process gas temperature of the three-stage sulfur condenser outlet, which could prevent the liquid sulfur condensing in the process gas pipeline at low temperature and realize the long-term operation of the unit under ultra low load.
