Corrosion control methods of sour gas fields in Sichuan and Chongqing

Accompanied with gas field water, sour gas fields in Sichuan and Chongqing contain high H₂S and CO₂, and corrosion is a significant problem during the production process. In this paper, the corrosion behaviors of metal materials in Sichuan and Chongqing gas fields were analyzed. Furthermore, according to the different working conditions of underground pipeline, on-site gas pipeline, outside gas pipeline and purification plant, this paper carried out targeted research of corrosion control, corrosion detection and corrosion data management.
