Practice application of shipping LNG measurement

The characteristics of shipping liquefied natural gas (LNG) as well as the difference between LNG and general merchandise measurement in trade, and the necessity of energy calculation, are introduced in this paper. Analysis and introduction of the method and step of a series of detection methods, such as the calculation of tank capacity, liquid density, unloading energy and mass, and unit heating value, provide a practical reference for the detection of liquefied natural gas.
