Research on chemicals for heavy oil sewage treatment in Baizhong 7 well block of Xinjiang Oilfield

  • In view of the characteristics of high heavy oil sewage and suspended solids contents, great fluctuation of water quality, high oil emulsification degree, and high dispersion degree of suspended solids in heavy oil sewage of Baizhong 7 well block, the indoor research were carried out beginning with water treatment chemicals selection. During the process, a new heat-resistant organic polymer coagulant KL-401 and its coagulant aid were developed and applied to the treatment system of heavy oil sewage in Baizhong 7 well block. The results showed that purification efficiency of the oily sewage improved in the well block and the discharge reached the standard of reinjection thin oil fields and reinjection the boiler.
