Hazard analysis and solutions of liquidinletinto BOG pipe in LNG terminal

  • During commission and operation of LNG terminal, serious consequences such as BOG recondensation system shutdown, or even overpressure damage of LNG storage tank and flare fire rain, etc. may be caused by liquid inlet into BOG pipe. The potential liquid inlet points into BOG pipe in LNG terminal are analyzed, the hazards and solutions are discussed and the optimization measures for design and operation management are proposed, which can provide a reference and practical guidance for LNG terminal engineering design, commission pre-cooling, operation and maintenance, etc.
