Research of parameter optimization for natural gas dew point control in offshore gas fields
-
Abstract
In order to optimize the energy consumption of the natural gas dew point control system under meeting the requirement of dew point at the junction point, HYSYS model is used to establish steady simulation to perform the sensitivity analysis of the key parameters affecting the dew point, including feed gas pressure and temperature, TEG circulation flowrate, reboiler temperature, stripping gas flowrate and J-T valve front temperature, and the reasonable value range of the key parameters, then the value range of which is determined. On this basis, the process parameters are optimized by the optimizer module of HYSYS and the optimal combination of process parameters is obtained. In view of the phenomenon of natural gas reverse condensation, the product gas envelope is used to check dew point during transporting. The results show that the pressure-temperature curve along the pipeline is on the right side of the dew point line, which proves that the product gas is always transported in gas phase.
