Study on risk assessment technology of gathering and transportation station in Changning shale gas block

  • The sand content, water content, station pressure and other parameters would be changed because of the rapid attenuation of shale gas well pressure, leading to the dynamic change of shale gas gathering and transportation equipment corrosion rate eventually. At the same time, the failure consequence calculation of skid mounted equipment in shale gas block would be overestimated by applying traditional domino effect consequence calculation method. In view of the above problems, based on the production characteristics of shale gas block, the corrosion rate prediction model of cubic spline interpolation method was established and the traditional domino effect failure consequence calculation method was improved by establishing the failure consequence calculation model of skid mounted equipment with additional domino effect. The calculation results show that the corrosion rate of shale gas gathering station equipment increases by 1.25-1.48 times, and the area risk increases by 30.18%, which verifies the necessity of the model. The research results provide a theoretical basis for accurate calculation of equipment risk in shale gas gathering and transportation station.
