Objective The adaptability of pretreatment system for sulfide online analysis is studied under the situation of natural gas quality upgrade.
Methods The pretreatment configuration and operation status of representative natural gas online analysis in Southwest China are investigated and summarized. The anti-sulfide adsorption performances of existing pretreatment device and passivated online analysis pretreatment system are comparatively researched.
Results The anti-sulfur adsorption performance of the novel system is significantly improved, and the anti-sulfur adsorption efficiency reaches more than 75%, adsorption equilibrium can be reached after about 2 to 3 hours of aging.
Conclusions It is recommended that the current pretreatment device should be used in daily production quality control, and the anti-sulfur adsorption pretreatment system is used as a preferred scheme at the controversial interface.
