Development and application of medium pressure hydro-upgrading series technology

  • In order to meet the needs of high-quality clean oil products and chemical raw materials, the Sinopec Research Institute of Petroleum Processing Co., Ltd. has developed a medium pressure hydro-upgrading technology(MHUG). Under medium pressure condition, it uses catalytic diesel, straight-run diesel, coking gasoline and diesel, light vacuum gas oil or their mixture as raw materials to produce clean diesel product of Ⅵ national standard, high aromatic potential heavy naphtha, No. 3 jet fuel and high-quality tail oil with low BMCI value. In the past 30 years, through continuous improvement and application, MHUG technology has provided strong technical support for diesel quality upgrading, oil product structure adjustment and chemical transformation in China.
