Objective Developing a method for automatically correcting the temperature and volume measurement results of ethanol gasoline by inputting correction data into the oil delivery system of tank farm, this can improve the accuracy of temperature and volume measurement of ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles produced by pipeline proportion blending.
Method First, through analyzing the volume calculation model of ethanol gasoline blending for motor vehicles, the results showed that its volume correction coefficient is determined by the temperature correction value, the average value of volume expansion coefficient in the temperature change range, and the isothermal volume correction coefficient. On this basis, through a comparison test of temperature precise measurement between non isothermal ethanol gasoline blending and thermal equilibrium isothermal ethanol gasoline blending, the study verified the feasibility of replacing each other's temperature correction values. By precise measuring the ethanol density, component oil density, ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles density, and temperature values before and after isothermal ethanol and component oil blending at each temperature point, the study analyzed the temperature correction value and volume correction coefficient of blending ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles.
Result The experimental results show that for ethanol and component oil blending at 5—35 ℃ with ethanol volume fraction of 8%—12%, the research results can reduce temperature errors of 1.702—3.990 ℃ and volume errors of 0.110%—0.285%.
Conclusion Field applications illustrated that the method can effectively improve the temperature and volume measurement accuracy of ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles produced by pipeline proportion blending, and has good application value for further promoting the use of ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles in China.
