Trend analysis of high-pressure gaseous hydrogen storage pressure vessels from the perspective of patents

  • The technology of high-pressure gaseous hydrogen storage pressure vessels has the advantages of fast charging and discharging hydrogen and simple vessel structure, and it is the main hydrogen storage method at the present stage. Based on the IncoPat patent database platform, a multi-dimensional analysis of the global patent application trends, regional layouts, key applicants, technological developments, and technical efficacies of high-pressure gaseous hydrogen storage vessels were conducted. It provided references for various innovation entities to accurately grasp the technological development context, track the technological research and development trends, as well as for subsequent technological research and patent layouts in terms of key core technologies and technical efficacies. Furthermore, it is recommended that domestic innovation entities should continuously strengthen patent layouts at home and abroad, and focus on the new technological development trends of fiber materials, liner materials and so on.
