Failure Analysis of Material Used in Samandepe Gas Field
The failure analysis of the broken down flange used in Samandepe gas field shows that the direct reason for the flange corrosion fatigue was unqualified treating in heat affected zone.In addition,abrasive erosion on the surface of flange worsens electrochemical corrosion,which also causes a certain impact on the fatigue fracture of flange.
